Our Partner in the ‘Goods from Africa’ supply chain project – FDB/Coop – publishes the most read magazine in Denmark with almost 1 million readers each month (no it is not MYC4 who has this kind of traffic, as the header of this post might have ‘indicated’… YET)!! Quite an outreach in a country with app. 5.5 million people.
Even though this blog is in English, I think this month’s issue of ‘samvirke’ qualifies to a post that links to a Danish only universe (hurrah for Google translate). Even more so, because this month’s theme is; Africa.
I really fancy the way that FDB/Coop stimulates the reader to (perhaps) get a new perspective on Africa – the articles are not about war, elections, etc. but focus on the things I also love when being in Africa; music, food, people…. just have a look at their photo series of 9 successful business people – WOW – it reminds me of the Benetton campaign; Africa works – but what I like about the FDB/Coop angle is, that it raises the bar to a new level; Africa’s future is dependent on new business areas as well as traditional jobs in a new form – well stated (so WOW again)!!
I will let the articles speak for it self from here… and cross my fingers that you will see a lot more coming from the partnership we have with FDB/Coop.
Pssst: If you meet anything on your way that could be interesting to bring up on this blog, you know my door is open – anything goes!!
