A new Kenyan provider, SISDO, joined the MYC4 platform 10 days ago. After a week of training SISDO’s staff on how to use MYC4, their first loans are now open for bidding.
One loan is for Lavington Serene – semi permanent houses that 34-year old Elizabeth rents out to low-income people. She started out with one house in 2003, but has managed to increase the number to 10 since then. With the loan of 922 euro, Elizabeth intends to build more rental units on her land.
The other loan is to Kiugu Pesa Point – a mobile money transfer premise. The owner, Mary, started her business with a loan from SISDO and is now looking to buy more stock, such as ‘communication gadgets’, with a loan of 145 euro.
Once again, a big welcome to SISDO and their clients on MYC4! We hope to see many more loans from them on the platform in the weeks to come.
